All praise belongs to Allaah that I got a Shaykh like Shaykh Mahmoud. I started my hifz without a teacher ar for one and Al'hamdulillah I started my journey with Shaykh. I am a polish revert and I was introduced to this sheikh through a friend, and I must say he has taught me very well and always puts 100% into all of the lessons, Even despite the language barrier, his English is very good and I also speak Arabic to him when I can. I'm from Australia and I've been reading & memorising with the shaykh (may Allaah preserve him) for nearly 2 years now. Alhamdulillaah I've made more progress than I though I could. I'd encourage anyone who intends to memorise the qur'an to join the academy and contact the shaykh; he'll try to work around your schedule. We have a significant time difference here in Melbourne but he always accomodates for our classes, He's very easygoing but he'll also keep your progress in check. I've tried memorising by myself and it's no where near as effective as when you have a good teacher. 100% would recommend

The Sheikh is an excellent teacher who I would recommend for anyone interested in memorising the Qur'an. He tailors the programme according to the student's ability and allows them to make consistent progress to achieve major goals in short periods of time.
